The carnival music of "Secular Haze" beckons the listener towards waves of deathby freezing in the ocean. "Come mist eternal" brings acceptance of that end. Withinthat, there is also the presence of evil and hedonistic signs that we are movingtoward a darker future. Note Bielak's carnival canopies looming in the backgroundand a mist enveloping the scene.
